Well versed and enjoy working closely with stakeholders of all types, document use cases, requirements, design specifications, acceptance criteria and ultimately deliver successful software solutions.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
Every database developer has had projects that have gone sideways. I was reflecting on that a few years ago and it struck me that few (if any) of them are due to database  design limitations. I decided to enroll in a project management certification curriculum in 2009. Less than a year later, I completed the 150 course program and attained project management professional certification from PMI.

GETTING PERSONAL
I decided to add a personal element to my site because I think every project starts with the people involved within it. Here you can see a frequently updated journal of hikes I've taken with the wonder dog Bogie. Most of our hikes cover the Pacific Northwest in the general Seattle area but don't be surprised if you see an Oregon hike from time to time. By all means, please feel free to let me know if you have hiking or hiking web site recommendations!
